Sadly, it still gets a blue screen with error code 0x0000007B.

So I restart my computer to see what happens. So what I did was to revert my change to Disk 0, and do it to Disk 1 instead:Ĭhanged last digit of Disk 1 (the Windows partition) from ec93b to 3c930Īnd then running bootrec /rebuildbcd would now result in: Total identified Windows installations: 0

However, upon doing so, running bootrec /scanos will now result in 0 Windows installations: Making it so that the system would not identify Disk 0 as a EFI partition. What I essentially did was to change the last digit from Since Disk 0 is no longer the boot drive for Windows, I believe that I can follow this solution: and trick system such that Disk 0 will not be identified as an EFI Partition. I believe the system knows what to do but upon running, it sees multiple Gpt, which is Disk 0 and Disk 1. The requested system device cannot be identified due to multiple indistinguishable devices potentially matching the identification However, when running bootrec /rebuildbcdĪdd installation to boot list? Yes(Y)/No(N)/All(A):y Here we can see that the computer knows where Windows is. Total identified Windows installations: 1 Successfully scanned Windows installations. Please wait, since this may take a while. Scanning all disks for Windows installations. And since Disk 0 wasn't "cleaned" properly before using it as a storage, its now biting me in the ass. So Disk 1 -> where my OS is installed (Program Files, Program Files (x86), Users, Windows, etc).ĭisk 0 -> previously where OS is installedįrom what I can infer, the problem right now is that due to some hardware changes, Windows gets confused to where the Windows partition is.

Eventually it became full so I got a bigger SSD (which is Disk 1) but I decided to keep Disk 0 as additional storage. I have been going at this since a week ago, but now I believe I have (hopefully) identified my problem to a single issue.Īll my disks are SSDs except for Disk 2 (931 GB), which is a HDD. I am having BSoD where it gives me error code 0x0000007B.
